Happy love day Y'all.
So valentines day right? Its all about flowers, hearts, candy, giant teddy bears, etc. Everyone knows the real meaning of that day though is love for each other. Well in Alpha Phi hearts and love mean something a little different.
It is symoblic almost for our philanthrophy which is the alpha phi foundation. Through love and support the alpha phi foundation gives back to sisters in the community and through out the world. Another huge thing the alpha phi foundation does is give money to womens heart health and heart disease research.
Did you know heart diesease is the number one killer of women in the north america. 1 in 3 women will be affected by heart disease in their life time. I bet we can all think of somone we know who has had a heart attack or stroke due to heart disease. so yes give love this valentines day but also give a donation to help the ones you love protect their heart.
